Thanksgiving is the day you take a moment to think about everything you’re grateful and thankful for. It’s also the day you give thanks for stretchy pants, by far the best meal of the year, football, family & friends. Each year I have been blessed to be able to spend Thanksgiving together with our families. My mother in law opens her home to my family and makes the BEST Thanksgiving day feast. Fresh sliced turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, marshmallow sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. I start dreaming about this delicious dinner when the first day of fall hits. There's so much to be thankful for, so why only celebrate one Thanksgiving when you could have two. This year give thanks to all those friends in your life with a Friendsgiving!
You may be asking yourself what is Friendsgiving. Friendsgiving is a time to gather around the table with your loved ones and friends. Each family brings their best Thanksgiving dish to pass, wine to drink and games to play. This modern day Thanksgiving has become a popular tradition between friends. If you've been thinking about incorporating this holiday tradition into your life I can help you get the party started!
Hop on over to my Etsy site Renee Clark Designs and scoop up your Friendsgiving invitation for ONLY $11.50. Customize your invitation with your party information, download the invitation and print or send out a digital invitation.
Now what better way to impress your guests with a show stopping dessert. Pumpkin meets cheesecake, I mean is there a better combination?! My Friend Tara at Modern Crumb created a pumpkin cheesecake that will make you forget all about the traditional pumpkin pie. I know you can't pass this one up, so go grab your recipe at Modern Crumb!
I'll leave you with a little monthly challenge. This time of year can become hectic and fly by, so take a moment each day to write down or acknowledge one thing your grateful for. I hope your holiday season is filled with love and happiness! Happy Feasting!
